Standing Broad Jump Test.
Measure lower-body horizontal explosive power by recording the furthest distance an athlete can jump from a stationary two-foot take-off. Repeat the same protocol across trials to establish a reliable power-performance baseline.
Test Protocol
Standardised standing broad jump procedure
The Standing Broad Jump Test assesses horizontal explosive performance by measuring the maximum distance achieved from a standing two-foot take-off. The athlete should use the same starting position, arm action, landing method, surface and measurement procedure for every trial.
Measure from the take-off line to the nearest landing contact point behind the athlete. Record each valid trial in the selected unit. EVOLVE identifies the highest valid jump distance as the primary performance result and also displays the average of all valid trials.

Where this test fits in the platform
The Standing Broad Jump Test creates a repeatable horizontal power baseline that can eventually connect with athlete profiles, historical testing, training recommendations and long-term performance tracking.
